UAE Minister, Interpol chief discuss stronger co-operation

ABU DHABI, — H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Jurgen Stock, the Secretary-General of the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) have discussed ways of promoting and enhancing co-operation between the UAE relevant authorities and the organisation in combating crime.

During the meeting which took place at the Presidential Palace, Sheikh Mansour and Stock, who was accompanied by a delegation, also discussed issues of common concern.

Rashid Al Ameri, Under-Secretary for Government Co-ordination Sector at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Sultan Al Hamiri, Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Defence, and Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director General of the Federal Criminal Police at the Ministry of Interior attended the meeting.
