SHA, Al Zahra Hospital sign MoU to offer customised benefits

SHARJAH, Sharjah Health Authority, SHA, and Al Zahra Hospital, Sharjah, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to provide Sharjah residents with top quality medical care at discounted rates.

The MoU agreement provides 30 percent discounts on various health-related treatments and services, as well as fast track appointments, to UAE nationals and government employees, below the age of 65, while senior UAE residents and Emiratis over 65 years are both eligible for the 30 percent discount. All discounts are applicable to cash services, only.

Commenting on the MoU, Abdulla Ali Al Mahyan, Chairman of SHA and Sharjah Healthcare City and Member of Executive Council, said, “We are pleased to associate with Al Zahra Sharjah to offer more affordable high-quality healthcare services to the people of Sharjah, with additional benefits, especially to the elderly and Emiratis. This partnership aligns with SHA’s strategy of promoting private-public-partnerships in order to improve the health benefits to citizens and residents under the directive of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.”

In turn, Prashanth Manghat, CEO and Executive Director of NMC Health, said, “NMC believes that quality healthcare is a fundamental right of every citizen and with this partnership we would like to ensure that Sharjah residents receive the best and most advanced medical services and facilities available.”
