Saud Al Qasimi returns home after leading UAE delegation to OIC Summit

MECCA, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has returned to the UAE after leading the UAE’s delegation at the 14th Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, hosted by Saudi Arabia last night in Mecca.

The UAE delegation included H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

H.H. Sheikh Saud and his delegation were welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport yesterday by Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal bin Majed, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan and the Saudi Ambassador to the UAE, Turki bin Abdullah Al Dakheel, along with other senior officials.

The efforts of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continue to serve the causes of all Arab and Islamic nations. The Kingdom is a powerful political leader regionally and internationally and it shall maintain its pivotal role in the proliferation of stability, peace and prosperity for Muslim peoples.” said Sheikh Saud bin Saqr after returning home.
