Need to concentrate and approach next match with optimism: Misbah (Daily Messenger (Pakistan))

Pakistan’s team management called off the practice session on Monday to addresses issuers over players morale and performance. The management asked players to forget the past matches and live up to expectations by concentrating on the team’s remaining games.
The same was echoed by skipper MisbahulHaq who said the team had been ‘unlucky’ and compared the team’s performance to England and South Africa who were beaten more convincingly by India when compared to Pakistan.
Misbah was quoted as saying “our luck would change; we need to concentrate on the next game, approach it with energy, optimism and sense of responsibility.”
Pakistan suffered losses in its first two matches against India and West Indies of the World Cup giving rise to questions over the team’s performance and selection.
Pakistan next play Zimbabwe on March 1 followed by matches against UAE (March 4), South Africa (March 7) and Ireland (March 15).
