Memorandum of Understanding between “Ajman Lands” and “Middle East Facilities Management Association” July 4th, 2022

The Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman and the Middle East Association for Facilities Management signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of exchanging experiences and developing solutions to challenges related to the facilities management sector in line with the legislation and regulations in force in the Emirate of Ajman.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, His Excellency Mr. Jamal Abdullah Lootah, founder and President of the Middle East Association for Facilities Management.

His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, said that the signing of this memorandum stems from the department’s strategy aimed at raising the quality of managing residential complexes and real estate projects in the Emirate of Ajman, stressing the department’s keenness and commitment to keep pace with the aspirations of the rational leadership to advance the real estate sector and enhance the position of Ajman as a modern, attractive and integrated city, providing all means of luxury and comfort for the residents, and making it a global economic center and the preferred destination for investors and entrepreneurs.

Al Muhairi praised the efforts of the Middle East Association for Facilities Management, its good reputation and its distinguished expertise in the field of strategic facilities management, stressing the importance of this partnership and its pivotal role in upgrading the work of management companies and improving their performance in line with the vision of the department, and meets the desires and requirements of the occupants of housing units in the various real estate projects.

Mr. Jamal Lootah, Founder and President of the Middle East Facility Management Association, said the MoU aims to find innovative solutions to meet the challenges facing the facilities management sector. This partnership allows us to design a unified framework for use by facilities management experts in the Middle East, as well as provide the necessary support and develop initiatives focused on enhancing communication, education, knowledge sharing, expertise, and legislative governance. This comes within the framework of our endeavors to assist the sector through strategic planning and management of utilities and facilities, in order to serve our expansion efforts in developing this field in the region.”
