Jordanian King receives Commander of U.S. Central Command

AMMAN, — H.M. King Abdullah II of Jordan yesterday received Commander of U.S. Central Command, General Joseph Votel, and discussed cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of military relations.

According to the Petra News Agency, the meeting touched on efforts to fight the threat of extremism and terrorism.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Mahmoud Freihat.
