Iraq confirms 52 new Cholera cases

BAGHDAD, Iraq’s Ministry of Health has announced the detection of 52 new cases of cholera, raising the confirmed caseload to 309 across the country.

In a statement carried by Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Ministry’s spokesman Saif Al Badr said that “a new death was recorded in Kirkuk, bringing the total number of cholera deaths to three, two in Kirkuk and one in Baghdad.”

Regarding the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever, Al Badr explained that the number of infections since the beginning of this year has reached 246, including 40 deaths until this moment.
