Algeria, United Arab Emirates Committed to Strengthening Military Cooperation (allAfrica.com)

Algeria and the United Arab Emirates expressed in talks held Wednesday in Dubai between Deputy Minister for National Defence, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army (ANP), Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaid Salah and Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Al Rumaithi , Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces, their commitment to strengthening cooperation to serve their armies.
“As part of his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Minister for National Defence, Chief of Staff of People’s National Army (ANP), Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaid Salah held today 25 February 2015 talks with Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Al Rumaithi , Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces,” said the National Defence Ministry in a communiqué.
“The two sides expressed their commitment to strengthening the cooperation to serve the two countries’ armies,” said the source.
On this occasion, “the two sides assessed the level of the military cooperation between the two armies in terms of the exchange of visits, training, army training, security cooperation, exchange of experiences as well as partnership in the field of military manufacturing to which the senior officials of the two countries grant a great importance.”
“This cooperation was materialized on the ground through the implementation of several joint industrial projects in Algeria,” added the source.
