His excellency, Eng. Omar Bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation-Ajman, confirmed that real-estate market witnessed notable activity during January of this year. The Department registered 961 real-estate transactions with a total value of AED 1,02 Billion, whereas trading volume amounted to AED 640 Million out of 712 total real-estate transactions, and the highest value was registered at “Helio 2” with an amount of AED 35 million.
Director-General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation said that the positive performance of the real-estate market and the figures recorded since early 2023, reflect investors’ confidence and confirm the attractiveness and competitiveness of the real estate sector in Ajman, which consistently continues to achieve progressive rates of development, and make it the aim of entrepreneurs and the preferred destination of local and international investors, especially due to many facilities, incentives and attractions available in the Emirate.
Al Muhairi stated that the Department recorded 199 mortgages during January with a total value of AED 270 million, and the highest mortgage recorded was at “Industrial 2” with an amount of AED 48,4 million. “Al-Zahia” avenue came at the top of the list of most traded avenues followed by “Al-Yasmeen” and “Al-Bahia” respectively. Additionally, “Ajman One” project came out at the top of the List of the most traded major projects, ahead of both “Emirates City” and “Horizon Towers”.
