The first ever Middle Eastern edition of the Spartan World Championship gets underway in Liwa on 3 December with the Elite Men’s event which starts at 3:00 PM, followed by the Elite Women’s at 3:30 PM.
From 4:15-4:45 PM, the ADSC Invite Kids’ Race will be conducted over a 2-mile start. This will be followed by another race for kids run over a 1/2 mile + 1 mile start, from 4:45-6:00 PM.
With the onset of evening, the Night Super start will commence from 6:00-8:00 PM, with the inclusion of the CEO Challenge (National Service Race) Super Start beginning at 6:30 PM.
Day 2 of the Championship on 4 December will kickstart in the morning with the Age Group Beast Start from 9:00-10:45 AM and the Kids’ 2 Mile Competitive Start from 9:00-10:00 AM. These will be followed by the Kids’ 1 Mile and 1/2 Mile Alternating Start from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and the Beast Open Start from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM.
The Kids’ 2 Mile Open Start will take place from 12:00-12:15 PM, while the Spartan TRAIL – 21K and 50K Start will be conducted from 12:00-12:45 PM. Later in the day, the Team World Champ (Super) Start will kick off at 4:30 PM.
Alongside the scheduled events, the Main Stage will have music and chat playing from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Entertainment and Cultural Zone as well as Merch will also open from 8:00 AM.
