UAE takes part at CID chiefs conference in Tunisia

TUNIS–The UAE delegation, represented by the Ministry of Interior, led by Brig. Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director-General of the Federal Criminal Police, has participated at the 16th Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Directors’ Conference in Tunis.

The event was organised by the General Secretariat of the Arab Ministers of Interior Ministerial Council. It followed the directives of the Arab Ministers of Interior to boost cooperation, coordination, exchange views and best practices in tackling crime.

The participants discussed a number of topics on combating crime at the Arab region level, notably a study on the latest developments regarding cybercrime and role of the criminal investigation in detecting crime and methods to detect electronic evidence, as well as policing and security aspects.

The UAE delegation also included Brig. Rashid Saeed Al Qaeshi, Major Obaid Salmeen Al Alawi, Major Saeed Musbeh Al Ghafli, and Captain Khadouma Saeed Al Nauimi from the Ministry of Interior.
