Crown Prince receives Emirates Autism Society delegation

ABU DHABI, — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a delegation from the Emirates Autism Society, headed by Khawla Salem Al Saadi.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his appreciation of the role the society plays in raising awareness on autism, and providing support to individuals and their families. H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Rulers Representative in the Al Ain Region, also attended the meeting.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the importance of concerted government, family and community efforts to support and nurture individuals with autism, and to continually improve the services and facilities available.

The delegation presented the nature of their work and their role in confronting the disorder of autism and work on the treatment of individuals, and help them to integrate positively in society.
