Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee gears up for summer camp

DUNDEE, Scotland — Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee has geared up to receive new students at Summer Academic Training Camp.

The training camp which will start from tomorrow will focus on multiculturism and leadership skills from 9th July to 7th August, and will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Patron the of college.

The camp is attended by 65 female students from UAE universities, the Police College Abu Dhabi, for the first time, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University and University of Malaya in Malaysia.

UAE universities whose students have been nominated for the training include Abu Dhabi University, American University in Dubai, American University of Sharjah, British University in Dubai, College of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Dubai, Higher Colleges of Technology, University of Sharjah, UAE University, Zayed University and Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.

Mirza Al-Sayegh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education, conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid to the participants and wished them good luck.

He stressed that Sheikh Hamdan is following the activities of the training programme and is always keen to help out all students’ requirements.
